Mr. Deendayal B. Jhanwar, MD,
M/s. Ramkrishna (Jhanwar) Group, Ichalkaranji
Our is centralised group’s emerging company offering value added fabrics in cotton, viscose, modal, tencel, cotton tencel, etc. Being a centrally managed company, our expenditure is less so we are able to offer good quality fabric at reasonable price to our customers. Our current production capacity is 5,5000 mtr per day being catered to buying houses, international brands, and leading export houses in India. Nowadays, Tencel, modal and viscose are in trend. F&A is a well known brand in Southern India and their first attempt in Delhi is not excellent but I can say is very good. The show is getting visited by buying houses representatives and exporters. As there are very few fabric mills participating so not much buyers are coming for fabrics but yarn buyers are coming in better number. Overall, we are satisfied, and for sure will be coming back next year.

We are displaying our entire collections of velvet fabrics basically light weight for garments, looking at the profile of the visitors at this show. Otherwise, we are doing a lot of fabrics for home furnishings for quilting segment. So the collection is vast, and variety is huge. There is a good demand for natural looking products and dyes. We got some good additions on tie-and-dye and some value additions. More of hand oriented, so this is something we have done forthe first time. We got good response here. I am quite satisfied with their first edition, which has been organised very well and would like to congratulate them on its success. The quality of footfall has been good there but how much materialises only time will tell. There are people who are interested in taking samples, collecting data, queries, probably getting back to us or we will get back to them in time coming. Visitors mostly from Northern India textiles zone like Delhi NCR, Panipat are visiting. Besides, there were odd buyers and may be designers from Mumbai and other cities of the country.
Mr. Shashank Sachdeva, VP
M/s. Sachdeva Fabric World Pvt. Ltd., New Delhi
The show is good, for the first time happening in Delhi, we have been participating in Bangalore editions and think they have done a good job this time again. We are displaying linen and linen blended fabrics for garments. New from us is textures; people nowadays are asking for textured so we have displayed more of textured look in linen and linen fabrics. So, far we had mixed responses. We had some good clients visiting us along with some potential exporters. But majorly it was RMG traders who were visiting. We are known for our innovations, innovative fabrics in linen. The market is pretty competitive because of lesser demand nowadays but we are still surviving. Apart from textured, plain linen and linen bands are also in trend. Recently we have installed new machine for fancy yarns to make them in-house, so are trying to promote that in the market.
